So I received my Range Technology V8 module today. I opened it up, snapped a few pictures and of course and plugged it in.

When you plug it in, it lights up blue. Will it bother me... as long as it works, not at all!

I went for two separate rides, only a few miles each but definitely travels that the AFM should have shut down 4 cylinders but not once did it do so. Not once did the engine sound as if it were being choked down, not once did my exhaust sound as if I were in a vintage Peterbuilt with a jake brake.

I had been driving in M5 while in town over the last few tankfuls and can't wait to see what the difference will be by re-gaining 6th gear without V4 mode.

My initial impressions: GREAT!

some of you may know that i have been saving to buy an NBS style truck for a while. well, i just got word from my credit union that my load was approved. to say that i am extatic right now would be and understatement.

my only problem: trying to focus for the last 2 hours while i wait to get off work.

I was suprised and happy to see that after a road trip this past weekend I got 20.8 avg MPG!

So i just got done talking to the police because i retaliated to some tools that i used to hang out with because they egged my truck! I didnt harm anyone and didnt damage anything but raised a lot of hell. The POS that egged my truck was in town and is staying at his parents house while hes here. I guess he decided to pull some of his highscholl bs and egg my truck that i decided to leave out. Im so pissed! I just got the truck cleaned today after work and was sitting around looking at some parts on my laptop and heard this loud noise coming from outside and sure enough theres a gay f*** exploder sitting infront of my driveway with arms throwing shit out the windows! Needless to say i was out the door and in the truck right away and on the phone. Went all they way back to his parents house with me following them! After a lot of yelling and the police showing up from the neighbors and myself calling, i was able to get to the car wash and wash the eggs out of my driveway and off my truck! I thought people grew out of this shit, may be the last time i leave my truck sit outside of the garage! Its not worth losing a $50,000 truck to guys that never grew up. Looks like ill be waxing the truck again tomorrow!! Sorry guys had to blow off some steam cause i could not be any more pissed off that this happend to my truck!

Also i didnt get a ticket.

Yeah it's a ford but who gives a shit. It's my buddy's and we sprayed it last week. Turned out so good I might actually spray the dmax. It took over $100 in tape to prep it, lol. Used golf tees to plug up all the holes. It took about 420 strokes total which is around 3 truck beds worth of liner I think. It looks even better in person.
