Took a trip down to the Cleveland Auto Show today. Main highlight was the new Silverado/Sierra. A pre-production model was on display, quite pretty. I mentioned to the guy that I was an enthusiast quite active on a website with 25k devoted GM owners....he ended up letting me climb up on the platform and get into the truck, which was one of the few vehicles Joe Schmo wasn't allowed to crawl into.
Unfortunately, my camera is absolute crap and the photos didn't turn out for sh!t, can't really provide any better images than the press releases have already shown. I will try to get a little detailed review up in the next few days.....
That being said, if you can accept change, you will most likely be a fan of the NNNBS. If you think the 2007.5+ isn't utilitarian enough and has build quality issues, too much plastic, etc. (you know the typical arguments), you will hate the new guy. If I don't get to prepping a review, feel free to hit me up with any questions you have, I spent about 45 minutes evaluating the cosmetics and functionality of the truck so I hope I can answer...
The guy also knew the performance specs on the engines but wouldn't reveal.....they're keeping seriously tight lipped about the new capabilities for a few more months is my guess, trying to sell off the 2013's I gues....
