StarSpangled6.0 visits a refinery (with pics!)!!!

My friend had an ATV in disrepair, so I offered to fix it up for him over the winter while he was away at college. The problem was the engine would stall on long stretches of road, at steady speed, so we needed some room to see if I actually fixed anything or not. His dad is in charge of a refinery\fuel storage site in Rosemount, MN, so we had the run of the place for a few hours today. There's some beautiful country down there, so I couldn't resist snapping a ton of pics. The weather was perfect, and I even got to test out the truck's off-roading abilities, too. There's nothing better than flying down a dirt road at 30 MPH on an ATV, without a helmet, or trying to get the truck out of soft, wet sand. Life is good. Oh, and I fixed the ATV, too

Is that off of Hwy52? I used to live down that way near farmington in a township years ago..nice area..great pics..thanks for sharin.

Yes, Highway 52 runs right by it. This plant is on the East side of 52, and there's an even larger one on the West side of 52. Beautiful country down there; windy, but beautiful.

Flying at 30? Ok, my next-door-neighbor took me for a ride on his over-powered Yamaha Banshee a couple years ago down by the river. It went from zero to F***IN STOP! in like 3.2 secs. I was never more scared in my entire life (except when Sheryl thought she was pregnant back when I was in the military)!

Sorry Cody, I completely forgot you lived down there...

Vince- it was scary, since the lil ATV only has a 205 cc Yamaha, and there's only suspension on the front axle, and the back tires are the only ones with tread, no helmet, bouncy dirt road, etc... you get the picture.
