Looks like the lucky dogs that can buy a 2014 can expect lots of new technology upgrades in the interior, great exterior styling, and most importantly, a new generation of the venerable small-block V8.

I don't like it. The glovebox gives the interior a weird look. So does the center controls. Manual knobs, not automatic digital? Weird. Maybe this is the base model truck or something.

And how can you say it has "Great exterior styling" without even seeing it yet? Lol

as exciting as it is to see these pics, god and gm engineers are the only ones who know how accurate they are. test 'mules' are often used just to try out new equipment... lotta h8ers on all the forums, and there always is! If theres truth to the interior pics, its definitely the WT or LS trim- note the manual climate control. I'd expect the actual interior to look differently. there arent even any hints about what SLT/LTZ/Denali is gonna look like. And theres an assload of camo over every single "spied" truck... can't really tell anything!

GM has messed with the public before (05/06 year, i believe), and even has put ovals under the camo just to mess with people. IMO the photos are crap, and it just makes me wish it was 2013 already!

Lol no one is "hating". Just not our cup of tea. You're right, we don't know what it's going to look like but at least we can say our opinion about what THIS article looks like. The truck pictured in the article is one I wouldn't buy is what I was trying to say with my earlier post. I'm hoping it's only a base model but either way, the higher model's just change certain things in the interior. Not the whole interior.

im not talking about people on SS, scroll down on the article Jon posted and check the 100+ comments about how the infotainment screen looks like an anus... its the ford and dodge suburban "cowboys" who like their woodgrain and fancy leather stiching.

I mean you're sorta right about interiors... but if you have a WT and a denali side by side the interiors are really not too similar other than some of the core design and a few components. i'm just saying its really easy to get your panties in a bunch over some spy pics that may or may not actually be accurate at all.

Yeah, I'm definitely liking where the exterior styling is going... rumor was that it was going to be all curvy and car-ish, but I guess not!

Not a fan of the car like dashes. But I don't like wood grain and the LTZ/SLT dashes either. I want a truck dash, my 2011 Silverado has a decent dash, but it's still starting to get too big and stupid with all of the extra crap they add to them now a days. I prefer my s10 or Ramcharger's dash over the new crap they make now. More stuff to break and more crap to squeak after a few rough roads or no roads at all.

Thanks Jon for posting this article, I had seen it and was wondering what other SS members thought. personaly I don't think we can judge this book by its cover yet, its a test mule, the equipment in this truck may or may not be in the final design, but I'm guessing we will see a lot of whats in this picture on the 14's when they come out. I'm just excited they are doing a re-design, and will be interested in the new Motor(s)and features they came up with to bring our beloved GM trucks into the future.
