my truck hates me FML

Well i go to get in the truck today...battery is sooooo dead...and i have no idea why..no keys in the ignition...no lights were left on...well i hook my battery charger up and let it sit...I finally get it started thennnnnnnnnnn..........I crank up the AC cause its like 98° and the heat idex is like 109° and wouldn't u know it..my blender unit for the drivers side is out again..nothing like strait hellfire being thrown in ur face lol...so i call up the dealer asked them were im at on warranty..i just put the new one in around September, and have 10k miles on it.....so i have an appointment on Tuesday but its gonna be a hot weekend for sure lol

At least your not in the southern states where the standing still temp is 109°!

I'll take a standing still temp of 109 when the humidity is low, but up here, 98 - 100 degrees with 85-90% humidity will kick anyones arse, HARD!

Can anyone give me a real fix fir the blower motor resistor problem gm has on all their trucks. I changed resistor and pig tail plug wich gave me 1*4 speeds on my fan but not 5 or high I guess you would call it. I have a 2006 3500 GMC Sierra diesel with less than 60 thousand miles on it. I went over my wiring connection three or four times and its not my wiring thats causing this. I see there are several issues online about this resistor and plug on the GM trucks just dont see any true fixes posted.

GM isn't the only one out there with resistor issues, but what you did is usually the fix. GM has had some issues with the switches, also. There's no reason you couldn't have problems with both at the same time.

Sometimes turning key completely off and restarting will reset it for a while . Has this ever worked for you ? Gotta say , I love my Sierra but I hear soooo much about this on GM trucks . Why is this such a huge problem for us ? I wish I had my old dumb push button system from my 94 back - it never gave me trouble . I can adjust the temp on my own . I don't need it to work like the one in my house .
