New Tow Mirrors Installed

ok, so i ordered some Kool-Vue mirrors from Fleabay, I heard good things, and i heard bad things about them. I ordered them monday they arrived today. So i went ahead and installed them, It took me about an hour total, only because the wire harness and bulb came off of the clearance light on the door and i fought with it lol...very easy to swap out. everything hooked up..My impressions on look, they look good. They will look better once my brush guard is installed. So here are some pix and a video i did

That didnt take long. Truck is looking good. Nice upgrade. I believe I'm going for the same brand mirrors this spring. Read some reviews on them , that you have to retighten them after a few weeks, after the inside foam seal sets. Then there good to go. Maybe do a follow up in a month or two on how there holding up.

Well i forgot to add that i am getting some vibration in the larger glass on both sides. I read that some do and some dont. I have also read on how to minimize it, by either adding foam weather stripping behind it, or cutting 1" pieces of garden hose. But for what i paid for them i cant complain

I just put tow mirrors on my GMC truck same color looks awesome man...you just got to level them out see how they are sticking way up

Im not worried about them being level, they look like most the stock and oem ones ive seen, plus its a pain to level them from what i heard

koolz71 that weatherstripping idea sounds pretty good. Mine are K source mirrors and the drivers dont vibrate too bad but at about 70 or 75 the larger glass on my passenger side vibrates pretty bad. ill have to try that.

Not tryin to hijack ur thread but does anyone know if the make a power fold/heat/signal towing mirror i really want them but want them to power fold also. Do the GM stock towing fold?
