Radiator drain

I cannot find the radiator drain petcock on my 2004 5.3L. WTF! :evil:

Been there. It has a blind hole! Just wondering if others with 2004 trucks have the same problem!

My 2005 GMC Sierra doesn't have drain cock, you'll have to remove bottom radiator hose.

Your truck must have been built with one of those female radiators. They sneak them in from time to time!

I removed the hose and 9 quarts came out. The Cooling System holds much more so I added fresh mix and will drive it this winter and do it again in the Spring.

this is a helpful website. I just bought 2005 silverado. changing water pump I could figure out.Try Finding a GDmnd petcock with dried colorodo mud falling n my face led me here. Thanks so much. BQ n colorodo.
