AMSOIL!
Ordered my Amsoil products to change out the whole transmission, and the front and rear diffs before plowing season in NE Ohio starts. Can't wait to get it done, I'll post up some pics and stuff of the project in action once I recieve the gear lube and ATF.

Well over the last two days I washed my truck and RainX the glass, then I used heavy duty rubbing compound on the whole truck and buffed that off by hand.
Day two had me apply a Polishing Glaze to the truck and take that off with a orbital buffer, then wipe down the truck with a microfiber cloth. Then the truck got a very thorough wax job that was buffed off with the orbital then followed up by hand to get any missed spots and to wipe off all the dust. Result: Also today I took some old 2"x6"s and build me a little box thing aound my wheel wells to hold tube sand or cinder blocks for weight over the axle during the winter months. 8 Comments Viewed 827 times Towing to Cincinnati
So Yesterday I towed a 6x12 Uhaul to the Cinci and back ($150 cheaper rental if I brouht it all the way back). That put the truck just shy of 81k mileage and time to change the oil since the Ford dealer I bought it from didn't reset the oil monitor when they changed it. 500 miles, $130 in gas, in about 9hrs. Proceeds from this adventure are going into the changing of the Oil & filter, differential fluid & new cover, and changing the tramission fuild & filter. All in all this was an awesome trip I learned that just cause the Uhaul says Top Speed 55mph doesn't mean that at 80mph it won't still be fine

SO after going to the FD for a false alarm call we notice an F250 stuck in the front yard of the church next door. Asking if he needed any help we determined to not risk our truck winch on the fire truck and just use my truck.
He buried his rear wheels almost to the rim in the soft yard so i put my truck in 4-HI and put tension on the chain and pulled him right along. Thought this was great and had to make that observation to him that my Chevy had to pull his F*** out. 6 Comments Viewed 825 times
