I would say you still have air in the system. You might try to get a diagnostic tool to run the abs bleed function.

Do you know of any affordable ABS bleeders ? I will try bleeding again. Thanks for the response.

Supposedly you can grab the brakes on gravel to activate the ABS and get some air out. Whether it actually works or not... I don't know.

^^^This will work, assuming you have enough pedal to lock the brakes up.

I don't have much pedal, but its worth a shot. Is a rebleed necessary after doing this?

Yes, that will just get the air through the abs pump.

Also, when you bleed the brakes you may have to pull up on the brake pedal to make sure you move the master cylinder piston through it's complete stroke. I had a problem bleeding one once that I did that and it finally bled out all the air.

02 same problem. Going to have to try this gravel road deal and re-bleed.

I'm in the same boat. I have an 01 Sierra that does the same thing. No I''m going to have to find a gravel road as most of the gravel roads in the county have been oil and chipped over the past decade.
