I have noticed a real odd thing going on with the ABS system when slowing to a stop going down hill the ABS will kick in and you can feel it in the pedal its fine on flat or going up hill any clues on the cause. No codes or lights or any thing like that.
The sensors probably are the issue, but they are more than likely not bad but will be when you pull them out.
There was a service bulletin on this and the instructions were to pull the sensors out and clean the rust from the mating surface of the wheel bearing housing.
Rust will form and lift the sensor up and away from the segmated wheel inside the wheel bearing assembly.
Problem is I have broken every sensor I tried to pull so I needed to purchase new ones.
Napa was the cheapest I could find at around 55-60 a piece
