so i am in the process of installing a older 14BFF 1 ton rear axle into my newer 2005 silverado 1500.
i am having an issue figuring out an e-brake setup for this truck. Im sure most of you know this truck comes with the slip yoke auto-trac tranfer case, so a drive shaft brake isnt going to happen (i think)
I was told to use elderado calipers, but have heard their hard to come by and and are lack luster on performance.
I currently have regular 3/4 ton calipers on the axle. this is mainly for inspection reasons.
Massachusetts requires a secondary mechanical parking/emergency brake
any thoughts of wisdom?
