Could be a sensor... has the truck been wrecked? Could also be a warped axle

Your rotors are starting to warp... overtorqued lug nuts.

This could be the warped rotors others have suggested or new pads on old rotors. If the pad material that was used before is incompatible with the new pad material they will grab (shudder) under certain heat levels.
Either way, get some new rotors and pads and be careful about tightening the lugs (pattern and torque values).
