where are the temp. sensors located? Also, wouldn't they only be the problem if you set the controls to automatic instead of manual? Mine has to be turned all the way up to 90 degrees to blow heat, anything under that it will blow cool to cold air. Even when set to auto and its supposed to keep the cab at the preset temp.

i have almost the same problem - no automatic controls, only manual, but mine is all heat and no cold - no in between. i replaced the control head because a previous owner put in the wrong one, but it still has the same issue. so i'm more or less in the same boat with you...

on a side note, anybody know who might repair these control heads, as far as light replacement? i've seen on here that the newer ones with dual zone have to be replaced, but is it the same for older (2001) manual controls?

nevermind - i got this... found someone to fix the lighting on the control head and the stereo head. now if only i knew where those pesky temp probes were...

my problem ended up being the temp door actuator. it was only working intermittently. installed a new one and all is well...
