My 5.3 warms us as fast, if not faster than the old small blocks I used to have. The stereo installation could have had soemthine to do with it, depending on how they ran and connected the wires.

Got the 4WD fixed; it was the attenuator. Got the heater fixed: needed to be flushed.
The new attenuator is after-market; roughly $300 instead of around $500.

Ok how about this one..

I can hear the door moving when I change the temp from hot to cold like was mentioned. But with my trucks air selector on Fresh air the heat is actually a good bit warmer than with it on recirc.. What could be causing this?

That is, obviously, opposite to what should be felt. I wonder if the fresh/recirculate actuator is hooked up wrong (wired in reverse)?

I have no idea, that is completely opposite than it should be.

Other than removing the box and checking it, I'm not sure.
