Hot Air

Hot Air

Postby Bobcat94 [OP] » Apr 30 2011, 9:39pm

Howdy everyone. New to the site.

I have an 05 Z71 with 5.3. I have an intermittent issue where I am getting hot air blowing from the AC rather than cool. No change if I cycle the compressor and change the temp setting. However, if I cut power and restart - No problems with the AC. Any thoughts? I am thinking a problem with a control unit?

Thanks much,

Eric

I don't believe so since the problem is intermittent and it cycles to very cold once it is reset by shutting off the engine. I will put a freon sniffer on it this week to make sure though. Thanks for the input.

By the way. More thanks for your service!!!!

Out of curiosity, have you seen or used L-Rod or Check 6 during any of your deployments?
