D'max mpg

Postby Won'tStrokeorRamIt [OP] » Aug 15 2011, 2:16am

Looking to upgrade truck to pull camper and looking for actual D'max users mpg's. Mpg's more important in fuel costs considering camper will only get pulled long distances twice a year and this will be my daily driver as well.

EFI live and exhaust. Get a mileage tune and a towing tune with turbo brake. Done.

I get about 17-18 MPG unloaded and about 14-15 with my 8000lb travel trailer.

Don't judge me haha...

Towing a 13,000lb 5th wheel with my 2007 Dmax. I went south to north and back so there were some significant hills.

I averaged 9.5 to 10 MPG. doing the speed limit----65 mostly. I have an aux tank in the bed that holds 60 gallons or else I would stop at every other exit for fuel.

No mods except for supersprings.
