Fuel Filter Nightmare

Fuel Filter Nightmare

Postby Riverjet [OP] » May 01 2012, 3:19am

I run a 2008 Duramax. Those of you that own one of these must agree. The stock fuel filter must go!!! I really need to find a remote fuel filter relocation/mounting kit. Does such a critter even exist?

I dont personally own an LMM, but BD Performance has a kit for remote/relocation. Check on their site and see if that will do the trick, usually these are used with higher horsepower apps but could possibly work for your needs as well.

I've seen this add on from BD before and it will work. What I forgot to mention was, I would like to delete the factory fuel filter completely. I hope there is a delete kit available out there somewhere.
Thanks so far!

Get some poly armor tubing and relocate it with some fittings. You can put it anywhere you want and since the fuel system isnt under the same pressure as your brake lines it should be a relatively easy relocate. Im gonna protect mine when I change it with a cover! Mines in a really bad spot too!
