How to

Back Up Lights

Postby Raffi [OP] » Aug 12 2012, 9:06pm

Hey guys,
I wanted to hook up temporary back up lights. I have Small set of Fog Lights I was wonder is there a simple way to connect them to my 7pin hitch. I want to be able to connect them when i need and the remove when im done. Here in California its not that important. It does come in handy when trying to back up at night. Its nice to see what you are backing into.

thanks

Use splice connectors, they can be removed and there will be minimal evidence it was ever connected. Ide tie in just before the junction for the reverse wires...

So what your saying is tie directly into the revers lights. No relays required? Nice

Fuse it, no the relay is just for turning on the circuit with a low v signal, giving the ability to use smaller gauge wire...
