Backup camera in mirror turns on while braking

Just what the title says. Happened right after I went through the car wash.

Everytime I am driving and hit the brake it turns on. 55mph to 5 mph. Reverse it still works but it never worked in drive before.

Thoughts before I take it in?

Now you can watch the other guy rear-end you....hehehe....sorry, couldn't help it.

Sounds like you got water inside the taillight assembly and it created a short between the brake light and the backup light. Can you remove it and dry it out?

This morning going to work it did not do it, so assuming it dried out itself.

Wondering what they would even do at the dealership. Truck is still under warranty.
