just curious is their a way to adjust the battery gauge on my 04 silverado the gauge seems to be backwards or something the needle goes forward then underneath

sorry its does sound strange the gauge on the cluster needle reads way past the battery max 19volts and keeps going about a half inch past that

Ohhh! Hm... And im guessing you already verified that surely the actual voltage is not that high...

When turning the truck off does the gauge relax? Or zero out? Im suspecting a stepper motor issue...

it relaxes but doesnt zero out it goes between 9-12v

We have a good "how to" on steppers here. You might be able to reset it... Or worst case, it shows you to change it...
