Bed rail lights

Postby forster0kevin [OP] » Jul 03 2012, 6:46am

Hey guys it’s my first post, I’ve been reading the forum for a few months now. I have seen people have installed the bed rail lights but haven’t seen anyone do what I’m hoping to do. I would like to install the bed rail lights and have them come on when I push my cargo light button. I would think I have to just connect to the non-constant power side of the switch... am I right?

Thanks
Kevin

That would be easiest. You could always splice a wire into the fuse box where the courtesy light is. and just just the wire on the side of your frame rail.

This doesnt help you at all but a good idea for the bed rail lights. A friend of mine ran them underneath his doors and wired him to his interior lights so they light up when he approaches the truck and opens the door.
