blower fan has a mind of its own

Postby climbtothebeet [OP] » Dec 26 2011, 4:41am

I was putting speakers in the truck today, and had the key out, and the door open, and on a few occasions the blower fan would come on full blast for 7 or 8 seconds and turn off. nothing was on. why?

Thast's a good question. Were you doing any wiring near the blower motor or the blower motor resister?

I don't know what it could be then. Try to find a wiring diagram and see if you can find a short in that circuit.
