Brake Light Switch

Brake Light Switch

Postby BigCountryZych [OP] » Mar 15 2013, 1:01am

So my cruise control was not working. Everyone said to change the brake light switch. SO I attempted to. Apparently I did not put something back right because I could not shift my truck out of park. Any help would be greatly appreciated bc I need my truck for work in the morning.

Brake Light Switch

The two are related. The brake switch works the interlock release... Recheck your steps! Are you sure you got a working/correct switch?

I am no expert at this, but I thought the shift interlock was mechanical. It's operated from the switch, Kyle?

anyway -- yes. Recheck EVERYTHING on or near where you touched. Something got bumped or knocked loose.
