My lighter keeps blowing and I need to get my truck inspected . This stops them from plugging in the inspection machine. Any and all help needed. Thanks Dan

What are you plugging into this port under normal use? That device may have an intermittent short.

Ok. It used to be that on this same circuit was the horn and the dome lights. If you replace the fuse and it blows right away, the first thing I would do is unplug the cigarette lighter and see if it still does it. If the problem stops, you may have a shorted port. If it doesn't blow, try the horn to see if it blows. I have fixed zillions of these things. The unfortunate thing is you really need a schematic to see what components are on this circuit and unplug one at a time. As a side note, have you recently installed any electrical items?

+1 on getting a wiring diagram and tracing all the circuits on that fuse.
