The BULB list (for NBS)

Postby Aridium [OP] » Jan 15 2011, 10:47am

Keep in mind this comes off of the Sylvania website. And is for my 2007 CHEVROLET Silverado. The site provided a quick reference.

I'm currently swapping all my interior/exterior lighting out for the LED versions.

If anyone needs help finding specific bulbs please let me know.

This is the difference that LED lighting makes for the interior of your vehicle.

If you guys want some night shots of how bright the interior of my truck gets i'll post them as well.

My 2003 GMC has a 4157K bulb number for the DRL. Have you found a LED replacement (that won't melt from the stock headlights)?

I, like others can't stand how short the life is on the Sylvania SilverStar Ultras. I've upgraded to SOLUX technology which lasts as long as standard halogen rather than only around a year like the Ultras. They're not super-white or blue-ish but that has nothing to do with true brightness. That said, they're definitely brighter...they advertise 80% brighter yet street legal, longest beam and best replication of daylight (4600k) of any halogen style bulb. So far, so good - I love them...especially on my high-beams...and I live in the country (very dark) and use my lights quite a bit.
