2000 Silverado 2500The flashing noise is going to drive me crazy! All lights work. Any electrical draw can set it off. Door locks. Windows. Its gotten worse. I found a thread where guy had same problem and he was told to replace the relay/flasher. He never replied to say if it resolved his problem. Please help!
I was hoping to get some help on this. Being a newb I thought everybody would jump in to help. I located and replaced the flasher. Not the problem. My mechanic friend tells me it is probably the multi function switch and he sent me a linkhttp://www.automotiveforums.com/vbu ... p?t=577320 to a nice tutorial for cleaning one on a 2000 Blazer. I will try that. BTW the flasher for my vehicle is located behind the behind the in dash fuse block. PITA to get to. Kinda.
It worked. Been driving with the flasher unplugged. Not fun driving with no turn signals. No replies on this at all huh? Hope someone finds it useful. No cost. Probably $500 plus at the dealer.
This is an older thread, you may not receive a response, and could be reviving an old thread. Please consider creating a new thread.
