Postby vdubcub81 [OP] » Mar 09 2014, 10:34pm

Hello, im new here and was curious if anyone with a 2014 silverado has installed HIDs or LED headlights themselves, and if so, how difficult is removing and reinstalling the air filter? where did you mount the ballasts? Thanx to any suggestions/advice!

When I mounted mine in my '03 I had an a/m CAI in it, which came with a bracket that was a good mount on the p/side. On the d/side I mounted it to the inner fender well. Wasn't a big deal to put it in. I'm not too familiar with the NNBS, though.

Thought about doing it to my 14 but will wait till GM starts putting them in maybe next year and retro fit. Have friends that are LEO who when we discuss it tell me it is a easy way to get pulled over. Not DOT so they are not legal.
