LED Parking/Turn Signal Bulb Issue.

Postby PinaKolata [OP] » Sep 22 2012, 3:42am

Hello, I recently put LED bulbs w/load resistors in for my turn signals and parking lights on my 2003 Silverado 1500 and ran into an issue. When my 4-way flashers are on all my parking lights flash real dim with the 4-ways (Includes license plates lights etc). And when I put on my turn signal the 194 bulb on the opposite side flashes with the turn signal (So for example with my left turn signal on the 194 bulbs on the right and left side both flash) This happens with both right and left turn signals. Anybody have any ideas what could cause this and how to fix it?

Thanks,
Aaron

That's definitely something funky. I would recommend going back to the stock lights all around. Then switch one bulb at a time to led and test for function. You may have a bad bulb. This will diagnose which one.

If you put load resistors on both the turnsignal and parking light circuits this may of caused your problem . Resistors are only needed on the turnsignals Just a guess not knowing what you did
