I am a big fan of superbright LEDs as well. I have done a lot of custom wiring on other vehicles and it's not hard at all. I'm going to be getting new tail lights all together but you may benefit from a custom application such as a bumper mounted light hooked up to your reverse lights, think of those led fog lights you can buy but instead of mounted up front they're mounted to your rear bumper hidden underneath that light up your whole rear end and where you're going when in reverse. Cause to me it seems tou may benefit from added lights that dont look tacky as Oppose to just replacig what youve got I'll get some and post some pictures soon for those that need further explanation. I have a very narrow driveway an it's not well lot at all. I back in every time and work third shift so I'm coming home before the sun comes up.

Ordered them all today. Reverse lights, license plate lights, cargo lights, and I even ordered a set of 6led green 194's for my Kawai brute force for the marker lights. I got out of hand, but the order came to like $54. There is people in my town charging 60 dollars for the reverse lights alone.

these are my reverse light LEDs and license plate LEDs
the plate lights look dim because the camera caught all the light from the reverse lights but they are really bright

have 2 questions for the group.

I got
reverse lights- look great and great fit
License plate- look great but the one corner of the led buld is touching the plastic housing. Is this ok? anyone else experience this.
Cargo Lights- Dont fit in socket very well they are not tight and will pop out on a slight bump these are 921-nw12 t-5 wedge base.

anyone else run into this???

Havent done the cargo lights yet, but the leds i have in my plate
socket also touch the lens' but since leds produce almost no heat I'm not worried

Yes I just ran into this using their cross reference system.

I ordered bulbs for the license plate and center high mounted stop (red). Ended up using the ones for the plate as cargo lights. Spent some time with my caliper and the original bulbs and ordered the original license bulbs in red for the CHMSL and smaller bulbs for the plate, WLED-x6

WLED-xHP15T in white and red for the CHMSL.

i was advised the 921-nw12 t-5 wedge base are a new style and they know the bulds will not fit the socket in the cargo lights of the 2011 silverado . I will be returning them and asking for a refund for the return shipping as well.
