no right turn signals

Postby kenb6656 [OP] » Jun 25 2012, 6:23am

I have a 2004 Sierra 2500 Crew Cab 4wd. 6.0 gas, less than 60k. The right turn signals on the dash and in the mirror started flashing real fast, I assmed I had a burnt out bulb. I checked the outside niether the front or rear work, I replaced both of the bulbs, still nothing. I then checked the fuses under the dash it is good. I then replaced the $85.00 flasher unit, the 10 pin one. The turn signals now flash at the correct speed, but still no front or rear, just mirror and on the dash. The emergency flashesr are the same; no front or rear.

I think it's time to get a wiring diagram and trace the wires. You may have a bad ground.

I took it to Chuy's Auto Electric, and paid $195.00 to have the problem fixed, they said it was a break in the wiring near the fuse box.
