Parking Lights won't shut off!

Parking Lights won't shut off!

Postby acook [OP] » Mar 23 2012, 6:39am

My truck developed a problem while sitting in the driveway - the parking lights decided to turn on, and will not shut off.

I've pulled the fuses so as to not kill the battery, but now what!

any ideas?

Nothing. It's got a trailer brake kit, and an aux input added to the stereo, but those were there when I bought it.

I would start with which fuse you pull, shuts them off and then see what is on that circuit.

I ll start with the basics, is your light knob tuned on to the parking lights and not on auto or off ?? lol, never know. Also sometimes it can be the truck being unlocked. after confirmimg your lights are actually turned off. lock your truck and wait approx 5 min.

Yes, the knob was in "auto", but I tried in all postions. I never tried locking the truck though, I'll try that tonight.
