Speedometer not working

Postby cmiester [OP] » May 14 2010, 5:53am

Hey there, new to the forum , I have a 2003 2500 HD and the speedo has quit working. Everything else seems to be working fine, ( and the milage is still adding up , unfortunately!) , anyone have any ideas on this, is it an electronic module, I'm pretty sure it wouldn't be a cable on an '03. Any ideas would be great. thanks

Sounds like the cluster. Didn't you get your letter in the mail about this? Speedometers sticking! Talk to your dealer. They know all about it. You should have had an extended 7 years 70,000 mile warranty for that. Which is described in the letter.

I'm in the same boat. Bought used and speedo just said "fuggedaboutit". Going to a dealer today. Thanks!
Love the truck; even with it's gremlins.
