08 GMC 1500 , love the truck, hate the fact that the doors lock automatically. i have read the manual and gone thru the dash buttons, but the only options i see are that they always will lock, you can chose them to lock when you shift out of park or at a certain speed.

I would like to be able to just lock them when I want, not when the truck wants to lock them. Is this programmable somehow ? If I knew what wire to clip I would do it. Any ideas ?

It's done through the dic on the dash

tried the dic in the dash and as I said, can't find an option to turn it off, just an option to set what locks the doors, speed or shift out of park. I don't want them to lock unless I lock them, like every other truck i have owned

If I am missing something, let me know the steps to take
