2010 Chevy Silverado 1500 Hybrid

If you do the math, the fuel savings will never offset the additional cost of the vehicle over it's life. It would be fun to have, but I have not invested in green technologies just for green's sake. If it had a return, I am in.
At some point (maybe at $6 or $7 per gallon), it may make sense.

Tsk tsk, Eric! GM doesn't make a 6.1L :D !
There are a few Silverado\Sierra Hybrids roaming around the Twin Cities, and a few more Tahoe Hybrids. The RNC convention was here a few years ago, and they trucked all the VIPs around in Tahoe Hybrids.

I am all in favor of saving money at the pump, but like Eric said in a later post, truck hybrids just don't save money in the long run. Plus, if I'm not mistaken, the current Silverado Hybrid can only tow 6000 lbs.

Correct, Jon! I was wondering if anyone would catch that (yeah, that's it!). It took 5 months for anyone to find it!

I should have said 6.0 l.
