After markey cold air intake causing problems

Air Intake

Postby J.T. [OP] » May 17 2010, 5:02pm

I bought a cold air intake off craiglist for my truck. As i installed it my truck start reving up and down really bad. So i disconnected it and put stock filter on but i left the cold air intake tube on. Then I tried puttin the cone filter back on. I removed the - batt cable and the let idle for around 30 mins to let the cpu adjust to the filter and it still ran like crap. I'm guess the only thing to do is a reprogram. help please

disconnect the negative lead to your battery for a few minutes to let the computer reset, then try again. It should reset the A/F mix to accomadate for the CAI
