Ram Air Hood and Cold Air Intake

Just recently bought a 2011 Silverado 5.3L that came with the Tuscany Black Ops package, included in the package is a working Ram Air hood so I'm wondering if anyone has that type of hood with a cold air intake. If so how much was gained with the addition of the CAI compared to stock filter?

Checked it out on You Tube. Beautiful/Bada$$ truck. If it's a true Ram Air then I would suspect adding a CAI would defeat the purpose. I would love to see under the hood.

Most function ram air hoods channel the air to the stock air box location so with the right cai you would see some gains IMO. But I believe from what the op said and the you tube video says, Tuscany put both the hood and cai on when they built the truck. I watched the video also it is a bad ass looking truck, think they should have put on some HD steel bumpers too. They also did a sierra.

Here are some pics I have taken so far, I would think changing the stock air box out for CAI would make a difference with air being forced from the hood. I do know that all the talk on here about the InTune system has me very interested in that programmer.
