Hands down best plug is the AC/Delco irridium. I put them in my last truck, and was very pleased with the performance, and with how smoothly the truck idled.

I have heard good things about NGK as well, but why not stick with AC/Delco, since they are very good.

Irridiums are the next step up from platinum (regardless of manufacturer). Avoid the Bosch, and anything that gives a claim to some miracle amount of horsepower or mileage.

ac delcos are a great plug. I recently put e3 in my 09 5.3 with the same mods you have and found that they are a really good plug. I also put them in the 05 colorado with the in line 5 and they made a very noticable diffrence with the higher milage.

Whatever plug was original equipment on your truck, put the EXACT same thing back in. That is what I am doing. GM put a LOT of Engineering into what your original plug was. I know. I lived it!

Izn197, they also put a lot of engineering into the exhaust, intake, suspension, and tune and those are the first things that get thrown into a box in the attic!lol I do agree, unless you are increasing your spark and tune to use that hotter spark it is usually good to go with stock. Most of the souped up plugs are usually a gimmick and give negligible if any gains. I think indexing your stock plugs would have a better and cheaper advantage.
