I've noticed on light acceleration, my engine stumbles. If I accel harder, it's not there, same if I back off. Sorry, 92 C1500 305 cid. Otherwise this 200k mi. baby runs like the Ford killer it is. I am going to check it running at night to see if I see spark taking a easier path to ground than the secondary ignition system provides. wondering if any of y'all had this before? Don't see alot about 92's with the 305 on the site.

If you determine that it does not have a problem with the secondary ignition system, it's a good possabality that the intake gaskets need replaced. They are notorious for leaking on those engines.

I had the same problem with my 1992 silverado with the 5.7. If i took of lightly or break tourqed it a little it would sputter bad and run rough. It ended up being a bad coil and a bad egr valve
