hey guys,
i got a 2000 6.0 with a starting problem. when i go to start it in the morning it fires right up like it should. i drive ~25 miles to work and it sits all day, go to start it and i got to crank n crank n crank then it finally starts. it almost starts faster when you give it gas. i can here the fuel pump and i have changed the filter. any ideas would be great help.

I have an almost identical problem with my 2500 6.0. It is driving me crazy. Sometimes I have to pump and pump the pedal just to get it to start, other times it fires right up. I have counted five attempts to finally get it started. Afraid that one day day it will just not start at all.

So it was the fuel pressure regulator?
