Vortec 350-454 fuel economy

I'm just curious if anyone has fuel economy figure for the vortec 350's and 454's in a k2500 style truck. Is there much difference?

I got around 13-16 in my 1500 with the 350. I'm guessing you'd get around 12-15 in a 2500, with the 350 in it. From what I hear though, the 454 is worse... but it's really powerful :D!

I'm driving my parents '97 K1500 suburban with the 350 in it (until I buy a Silverado in a few months). It does pretty decent (even with 155k miles). Last I checked with probably a 30-70 city-highway mix of driving I was getting around 15.5 mpg. I estimate about 12 in the city and 17 or so on the highway...not bad for an old truck.
