I have a leak somewhere in my 2001 Silverado Windshield washer tank and i was wondering how to remove it to check it out? Does the battery have to be removed to get the tank out?

I had to replace mine. I dont remember exactly how many bolts there are but the batt doesnt come out. you remove it for the bottom. You'll have to remove the wheel well shroud to get it it out.
