dual vs single oulet exhaust? 5.3l.

Postby jamoka3 [OP] » Dec 24 2011, 11:40pm

Got the 5.3L in my 05 Silverado, is there a benefit of running a dual exhaust over a single outlet exhaust?
I like the Banks Single outlet Monster setup but i also like the Magnaflow 15792 Dual exhaust..
Will the dual outlet setup fit my Z71 since i have a trailer hitch and the under bed tire mounted?

I run duals into a single magnaflow tru-x muffler and duals out the back (dont remember the part number). I love the sound :)
...and it's on a 5.3L...

I had Flowmaster super 44 duals and the drone was so bad in these trucks because of the placement of the muffler so close to the cab. I sold that and now have the MBRP single exit and I love it. I have had a ton of people ask what kind of exhaust i have because it is so deep.

Also it bolted up perfectly to stock hangers.
