First I would like to apologize if this isn't the right way to post something.

I have a 2010 Silverado. 5.3L V8.
I racked my brain for weeks trying to decide on which exhaust. I originally wanted Corsa, but I wouldn't see myself spending $1000+ on it so after talking to the Chevrolet dealer I chose MBRP. It was $660 after tax and installation.

Now, just from what I've observed today on my little trip (keep in mind I'm a bit clueless about specifics on trucks) but it's loud when you start and when you take out. I find though it's louder at the lower RPMs instead of higher so like 2000-3000 it has a nice rumble to it. At 60 on cruise control you can't even tell it's on there. When the AFM? I believe it kicks down to V4 there is drone inside the cab, but stops as soon as it goes back up to V8. It's nothing that isn't tolerable with the radio on. Also, I don't floor it or anything I take out slow at lights and I went from 17.8 (stock) last week to 19.7 (MBRP) this morning. As far as power I can't tell a difference honestly.

I've tried doing videos inside and outside, but the recordings are less than par when it comes to the reality of the sound of this exhaust. I'll keep trying though.

Good write up. I am considering MBRP in the near future. I think I want the single in/ out dumped just after the axle, or a series 10 flowmaster with the same set up.... decisions decisions

Nice man, I've never been a fan of tips but I like the duals out the back.

Thank you. I hope I had it detailed enough. I considered Flowmaster specifically the 10's as well, but i read this forum a lot and other forums about a lot of negatives of them so I decided to stay away from that one. I was narrowed down to Corsa and MBRP, but I figured I would go with price in the end and I'm happy with it. I've gotten several compliments already.

Thank you. I've always admired the duals out the back so I told myself as soon as I could afford it I would do it.

Thanks for the comment and you're welcome. I find it worth it, but I've only had it since Friday so far. Well worth it so far.

Finally got a decent video of it. It sounds better if you actually have good speakers or headphones instead of using computer speakers.

Just an update, I apologize about bringing and old thread back, but I didn't want to make a new one. I've had these for a few months and the sound has gotten deeper. Today (January 26th) I actually took the truck on the interstate for 3 hours.
Before today I've only had it up to 75-85 for 10 minutes and again today was 3 hours. I'll say this it about drove me crazy.

I was never so glad to stop and get some Advil at the Gas Station. V4 (the dreaded AFM) was ridiculous I can't wait to somehow get rid of that. My ears were ringing when I got out. The radio being up loud helped a little though.

Other than that at 60-65 it's great and quiet. Get past 75 it's a bit rough.
