i just swapped out my muffler with a magnaflow 6" tube style. 18" i think. LOVE it.

I just had the Magnaflow 18" put on this morning, it sounds great IMO. I just wish I would have done it sooner!

Offroadman, I think you would be happy with the 18" Magnaflow, I have it and wish it was a little louder, only a little bit of drown when it goes into 4cyl mode but I dont have to worry about that anymore (unless I want to). Most people that go with the 22" wish they would have gone with a 18", they say that it is as quite as stock which might be exactly what you're looking for.

I would agree with that, the magnaflow 18 is pretty quiet when you are just cruising, but when you jump on the gas it sounds good!

good luck 83! what ever you get make sure you weld it in. those dinky exhaust clamps just dont cut it!

Oh no worries there..........I always take it to my favorite exhaust shop here to weld it in. I have never kept any of my vehicles with a stock exhaust lol.............

i have the flowmaster american thunder kit on my 6.0 sierra and its bad ass loud but very little drone on the hwy unless im on it hard, its the big block kit, u can get this kit of ebay with mandrel bent pipes and all for under 300 bucks and its awesome!
