Single chamber Flow exhaust

Postby Chasmanian [OP] » Jun 15 2011, 8:17am

Well I got my HID's today, didn't expect them until tomorrow. Got them in the truck and then my bud called and told me to bring my truck in and he would throw a single chamber Flow on for me as a going away gift. Was a good day.

Really like the sound, not to loud but when I hammer on the gas she really sounds like a truck now.

A little weird, but with the big tires it doesn't see 4 mode very often. Not enough to bother me. The two chamber was to quiet for me.

It's not that loud. I thought it would be when I saw how small it was. I guess with the two cats it stays toned down quite a bit.

I know on my buddies 03 witch has the same muffler is a lot louder.

Re: Single chamber Flow exhaust

Postby Caldwell » Jun 20 2011, 8:18pm

I have a Super 10 as well ( SI / DO ) on my 08 5.3L, and I thought it was gonna scream rediculously loud all the time. Suprisingly its not as loud as I expected it to be. highway crusing in 4 cyl isnt that bad. i dont notice it all that much cause i like my stereo turned up...

I have a 3rd cat or what appears to be one, but there is no sensor behind it, so im thinking about having it removed, then i should have a real nice rumble !!!!!
