He is correct, those are dumps at the corners. It sounds good directed at the ground. It's a single with dual out. Ran $300 at the exhaust shop.

hevyrockerdk wrote:That looks really nice! A couple of questions about that particular setup, though. First off, how easily was it directed around the spare tire? Secondly, how much did that setup run you? And third, I can't see if those are just exhaust tips put on the ends, or if that's a stainless pipe run from the muffler back to the end, cut just the way you want it.

Idk if you was talking about mine or not, but I will answer questions anyway. 1) I didn't run the exhaust a shop done it but it looks like a pretty straight forward thing around the spare tire. It's almost strait when it goes by the tire. 2) I had 312$ in my muffler pipe tips and labor. 3)It's 4 inch stainless tips on the end of 2.5 inch pipe. I like the way its done because you can't see the actual pipe at very many angles.

That was directed to you, Tyler, thank you. I forgot to ask, though, is that a true dual setup, or a single in dual out?

Exactly right about the tips, I like the way that looks, most "tip-jobs" don't come out so nicely like that.

It's si/do. When I got it done I showed the guy a picture I found of how I wanted my tips and I don't think they could have been done a whole lot closer. He even said when he called to tell me it was done that if it wasn't right they would work on it and try to fix it.

Since you have si/do, I assume it sounds pretty even flowing at both sides.
My only worry is, since the 5.3s have AFM, should I have them jam an X-pipe in there after I come off the cats and before doing into the mufflers? I'm worried about the sound being funny if I go true duals. The mufflers are si/so center 2.5 in/ center 2.5 out. Also, what size tips are those?
