Anybody have a weathertech bug deflector

Anybody have a weathertech bug deflector

Postby OMA81 [OP] » Jul 15 2011, 3:00am

Purchased my new truck a few days ago, now its time to spend some $$$ on it. Want to get a bug deflector and was curious if any has an opinion on the weathertech bug deflector? Will be ordering the floorliners and possibly the vent shades. Thanks for your input

Hi OMA81 newbie. I'm not sure what floor liners are. I put in custom carpet floor mats? I had the dealer install the smoke grey bug shield when I bought my 2011. It fits really great and looks really awesome. I don't even see it when I'm driving but it has saved me some chips. I just had the window vents put on 2 weekends ago. Haven't posted pics yet of that mod - changing out my black bow tie on the bumper (again...nothing wrong with it but I wanted to change it to a smooth one). Anyhow, the window vents I got are by EGR and they are the in-channel ones. They have them for the crew cab which includes all 4 windows. My extended includes all 4 windows. I wasn't sure about having these because I've never had them on a vehicle before but I really like them. I can roll the window down on the highway and get air but not "blown" away. I also put on a "shorty" (not the smallest but the middle) antenna. It looks cool.
