My rear chrome bumper is rusting really quickly and i figured i'd plasti dip them to cover it for now but the rust is comming through and its bubbling now. anyone know any possible replacement bumpers? I dont want something expensive and intense for anything more than the stock bumper would have been used for but i also dont want chrome or a whole lot of plastic if thats possible.
any help would be awesome
Another option if the bumper isn't to wasted is treat it with rust inhibitor , then hit it with bed coating spray followed by a spray clear coat. Its a pretty good tough look and can be done in a tight budget.
I want to stay on topic about bumpers but just wanted to show you the look of bed spray.
Here is a pic of some step bars I did. I used DUPLICOLOR bed spray followed by clear.
Might be a option for you.
you can order the paintable (matte black) bumper covers. I got a set from rock auto for around $115 shipped.
