If I could change my truck's color, I'd go with that brown that I see on some of the Sierras. I'm not sure of its politically correct term, but it looks brownish.

So many hues.
My current truck is Crimson Red which is closer to burgandy than red.
My other truck is Imperial Blue, in the right light looks black.
My 97 Chevy was a sky blue.
Best colour for a dirty truck is Pewter or Chevy called it (I think) was Sandelwood. A friend of mine though it was a special shaded/ high lighted paint job, but it was just dirty. 2000 GMC
Even white has many shades. But remember colour is light. So I find this interesting black is black. The reason for this is black is not a colour, because it is the absence of light. So black should be the winner.
I give anybody credit for having a black truck due to the fact it is brutal to keep clean. Thought I always wanted a black vehicle but after the Imperial Blue I don't see this happening for me. Dark Reds/Burgandy are my favourite.

My previous truck was Victory Red my current one is Black. Looks fantastic when clean but almost impossible to keep it clean for very long. It is the first and last Black vehicle I will ever own.

I love my pewter truck. You're right.. doesnt show dirt a lot. I think a lot of people have the tan/pewter color and mark down as silver/grey. Cause i see A LOT of tan/pewter trucks out there. Just sayin ;)
