hi guys i just want some input on my future build. ok i want to buy a 99-02 nbs 2500 hd single cab preferably standard transmission 4x4 6.0 l 8.1l or duramax. i can find a truck like this very cheap that has been used. i would like to make the truck a duelly. id like to keep the bed and put fenders on . my options are to put a dully axle under it or get spacers and i could maybe put dully hubs for the front or get spacers. any input is helpful but don't ask why not just buy the duelly the answer is its cheaper more fun and more personal to build one thanks guys

Should be able to swap rear axel and just change front wheels to match rear. Take pictures will be a cool and unique truck

Sounds like fun! The 6.0 2500HD is pretty common and fairly cheap; but the extra power in the 8.1L or Duramax is worth the extra cost. Let us know how it goes!
